Quick question? Can't I just plug it into the third channel slot on the receiver and run it that way? The instructions have you use a second battery or a Y connector from the main battery. Receiver- 1 servo, 2 esc., 3 winch, and sometimes receiver pack. I don't run a BEC, but I do use a receiver pack most of the time(red wire pulled from esc). Wont that work? |

wont work the plug going to the reciver is just to control the winch if you have an open 3rd channel. the power is taken from a main battery. dont trust me? just try it. pretty easy to just plug it into the reciver. total time for testing shouldnt take any more than 2 minutes |

Is there any way to send power to it from the RX? I am currently running one BEC to get ample power to the servo, and I have heard that running a second BEC can lead to interference issues. I don't really want to run a second pack just to power the winch, which I hardly use, but love to show off to people. Just some specs on the truck so you have a solid background. Just use a T connector or tap it to your ESC plug. |
