Default Vanquish dig servos?

What servos are people running on the vanquish dig? I cannot fit a fullsize servo because of the cobalt puller motor. I made a small adapter for a micro servo. I nuked a hs-81mg trying to set epa.......

I believe VP will be releasing a mini servo mount for the Hurtz in the near future.

Look for a sail or rudder servo for a plane or helicopter. They are a little more shallow than full size servos and still have more power than the mini's.

I think with the lever arm on the hurtz dig you need a fast servo. I would say faster than .15 seconds. The ones I've seen seem to engage and disengage very easily, but roll backs still happen if the servo is too slow.

i think i might look at low profile servos though they cost way more than i wanted to spend. I test fitted the 645mg and theres no way thats going to fit. I am still waiting on a reply fron VP about the mini mount.........i hope they did not toss it on the backburner.

for now I would contact gunnar, he is making custom mounts to fit any setup for a very good price. We have not started machining any mini mounts yet.

IDK, i realy do not know much about all the servos, im sure someone will reply with more knowledge than me. i know that a 60 oz servo will work no problem, but i know people have been running ones with less than that as well. this dig is not very picky on the requirements. speed seems to be a detail to look at.

if you plan on contacting gunnar for a custom made mount you can talk to him he is very knowledgeable on servos and this dig unit.
