| Max discharge rate battery for a 3s goat?
What is the highest discharge rate in a battery I can safely use with a 3s Novak Goat using a 21.5 turn brushless. Thanks

It's not the highest rate you need to worry about, it's getting a battery that can deliver more current than the ESC and motor will draw. I'm guessing that you need around 40 amps, so a 2000mAH 20C or 1500mAH 30C will do the trick. If it's more than that, it doesn't matter. Bigger packs mean longer run time, but more weight. |

Not sure if it matters but I have logged over 80A using a Tekin RS/21.5. It was in a bind though. Under normal driving it rarely pulls more than 30A. Your system will probably have a similar amp draw. A battery capable of 30-40A continuous should be fine. I was using a Rhino 1050 40C/50C 3s Lipo. |

You need to ask yourself will your battery be able to handle the current your model draws. Personally, I would go with either the Elite 2200 or 1700 35C. They will be the best power you will find, and are affordable too.
