| Safe Lipo Storage
Well As i build my collection of lipos, i think im up to 5 or something these days, I use 3 on a regular basis, and 2 stay in storage at a 70% charge for the time being. I know they are pretty stable just sitting there charged, but i have heard horror stories. Anyways what do you guys keep your lipo's stored in? I was looking at one of those lipo sacks any one using them? are they worth the money? I was thinking about getting a small metal project box form fry's or something that should protect me should one decide to go up. let me know thanks Steven |

when i store mine i just check em with a volt meter ever now and then to make sure they are still above 3 volts. and they just sit in one of those cookie tins. its not so much the storage u need to worry about, they usually "go up" when being charged or have a huge draw on them and heat up.

A lipo sack is what I would recommend to keep them in if your gonna store them, just in case. |
