If you know how to run,or can learn to run a stick radio,Spektrums got a good stick radio that allot of guys use for scalers with lots of extras or supers. Nomadio's got a 4 channel pistol. Futaba has the 4PK,which is real a nice radio if you got plenty of coin.

A good servo would be something with 300+ oz. of torque. I use these....Hitec HS-7955TG.....on our 2.2 comp trucks. There are more powerful servo's out,but these do a great job for me. They'd do great on a scale truck.

I'd highly recommend a 35t Holmes Hobbies Handwound. Put a 3 cell lipo to it and you'll have good wheelspeed with awesome bottom end power.

Yes, you need 2 servos. You dont need a really powerful servo for you dig.. You can just use the hitec 645 for that. Just dont use the minis or else it wont last long.. For the steering, go with a torque of at least 250oz at 6V since you have a heavy rig.. Youll need a lot of torque to steer that beast.

ok so a 645 for dig and a 7950 or 7955 for steering?

What about radio's? need throttle, steering, dig, and winch so can i get away witha 3 or need a 4? also later on i might make it 4 wheel steering and take dig out but we will see about that later. Been looking at some but really not sure one radio

Also believe i need a speed controler?

DX3R if you can afford it and planning to use it later on another rig but if you will just use it on this, just get the DX3E..

the dx3e looks good but wont be out for another month, also dx3r is spendy and i think i would prefer not to have that much into a radio but i been reading and either its the dx3r or 4pk.
