| Clod based crawler novak super duty question
I am in the process of building a clod based crawler. The integy 55t motors are on backorder right now so i am running a stock set of 540 motors with a gear reduction kit. The esc is the novak superduty. Ive got the single battery pack wiring down, so i need or could use a schematic on how the motors would be wired up to keep them both running on the single esc. It only has one set of motor out leads and i am trying to do the wiring as neatly as possible, so if someone knows what i need to know please let me know.

solder a wire from the positive of the front motor to the negative of the rear motor. Solder a wire from the negative of the front to the positive on the rear. Solder your positive motor wire from the esc into the positive wire for the front motor. Do the same for neg esc wire and neg motor wire. This is parallel wiring and it is best for a clod. Hope his helps.

I think that the front motor positive should go to the rear neg. and the front neg sholud go to the rear pos. This will make the axles turn ths same direction.

Thanks, dmyers44. I am going to mess with it some today. but without having a adjustable endbell on my stock motors i will have to do it that way to keep the rotations opposite one another. Thanks

good call, I wasnt thinking it has been a while since i wired a clod. Ill edit to reflect that so there isnt any confusion. If you reverse a stock motor, it will turn slow and perform not so hot. adjustable, reveresed, or zero timing is a must for clod axles Last edited by JohnRobHolmes; 12-24-2005 at 09:09 AM.

Dezfan you want the rear motor to have the shortest wires. The long wires go to the front. It makes a difference in fighting clod stall.

Anyone know what the turns are on stock clod motors?
