Default HH BR-XL ESC issue

I just received the HH BR-XL ESC. I don't have any reverse. I have hooked it up via Castle Link to verify the mode. It is set to Forward to Brake To Reverse. When I hold Reverse the light flashes fast pulses red.

I changed the profile to Proportional w/ Reverse Lockout and it works fine double tapping. Switched it back to Forward to Brake to Reverse....same boat....nothing. I did hook up a voltmeter to the motor output posts and there in no voltage coming out while reversing in that mode.

Has anyone had this happen? I have posted this in John's Q&A thread but no reply yet.

I had a sidewinder that did this to me awhile back and turned out it was being really picky on my throttle trim. I reprogrammed over and over and eventually adjusted my throttle trim just a bit, then it found neutral and worked flawlessly for months. Hope this helps

It the trim was at fault, it wouldn't work at any throttle profile that I choose. Seems to be something not right with the software.

Yep, a firmware bug looks to have come up. Be sure you have 1.02 firmware, but it looks like the last run has the glitch even with 1.02.

easy fix, just reload 1.02 firmware. The one put on there is an incorrect 1.02.
