Default Will Hitec do anything about a broken servo?

The HS-311 in my buggy just **** itself, will Hitec do anything for me? The servo has about 10 packs on it, the buggy cartwheeled after a jump and as soon as I got lined up for another run at it the servo started buzzing. Do I get any warrenty or a new servo or am I SOL for buying a cheap servo.

Call/e-mail Hitec about it. They're usually pretty good with customer support.

if it something with the chip inside, yes they will repair it. if its a gear just go to youre lhs and buy new ones. If it is the chip, you send it to them with other info. If it cannot be repaired theyll send you a new one.

I found an old Hi-tec in a box about 3 months ago. E-mail them about fixing it. AND THEY DID!! Funny thing was it wasn't working because it didn't even have hi-tec gears inside the servo.

Great customer service!

I had a hitec servo once, it was an MG (metal gear) servo. Don't remember what one. I ran it about 3 times and it took a crap. When I tore it apart I found there was not one metal gear inside the thing other than the small brass pinion on the motor. I was PISSED!!!! I called them up and told them what I had. They said that was unusual, must have been mislabled at the factory and sent me out a metal gearset for it right away.

Good customer support, but I don't buy hitec servos any more.
