Default Hitec Digital Servos

Anyone have experience running 7.2+V through Hitec digital servos? I am running a JR 125MG right now in front, but thinking I want the extra holding power of a digi servo for my rear steering. I wire my servos directly to my battery for the little extra speed and torque, it hasn't had a negative effect on my 125, but I was just wondering how well the circuit boards hold up in the Hitec digital servos, especially the 5645 and the 5945.
