Default Inrunner/outrunner

What is the difference between an inrunner and outrunner motor?

The can spins on the outrunner, so the outside spins. The inrunner's armature (rotor technically) is encased inside, thus "in-runner"

Ok thanks, so most motors out today are inrunners or do they look the same?
