Default motor smokes when binds?

For some reason on my losi moa my motors start to smoke when i get in a bind and i give it more throttle and more smoke comes out and smells like burn.but they still run.im running 35t integy v11 on 3s.

When you get it in a bind and give it the throttle you are cooking the motors.
We have fried several in a Losi MOA

A 35T is kind of a fast motor for binding it up,,you need a motor that has more torque like a 45t or even a 55t and gear it to get your wheel speed back,,i havent had any problems with my integys but a lot of people will say the fact that its an integy is your biggest problem,,,you might try a handwound

the smoke comes from a couple of different areas in the motor,,it can come from the gap between the commutator and the brushes as both burn under electrical arch and it can also come from cooking the epoxy off of the windings

LCC + motor smoke = Ahh,,,thats normal. Just kidding. But for real, Ive smoked more motors in my losi that anything else I've ever had.

The motors shouldn't smoke, that's not normal or good for them, you don't want that to happen. You need to figure out why they are having to work so hard(besides the fact they are trying to power a worm axle), maybe gear mesh, etc...
