| Got a LiPo for my Airtronics M11
now..can I leave it plugged in in the Transmitter? or is it like an ESC with a LiPo where it's always "on" even if you switch it off?. like if i leave it plugged into the TX will the battery continue to drain even after shutting off my radio? leading to an over dis charge and ruining my Lipo as well as my M11 radio thanks. it's a Losi 2400 3s Lipo |

I've been using lipo's in several transmitters for over a year now... I only take them out/unplug to charge them I recharge at 10.9-11.0v. NEVER EVER charge the battery with anything but a lipo charger... no wallwarts! Making the mistake of leaving the TX on will cost ya a battery |

I put a lipo in my M11 as well. I only take it out for charging. I have had mine for about 4 months, and all is good.

If you know you won't be using it for awhile, like a couple of months, unplug it. But I'm like the other guys, I only unplug when I charge.

if i were not going to use it for more than a week or so i would do a storage charge/discharge(11.4v) since its better for the lipo in the long run to be stored at this voltage rather than full charged.

I'm using a Fusion Pack 1300 3s. I know its a little on the small (mah) side, but it works just fine.
