are they 27turns or lower? my stock motor in my wheely king and ax10 both 27t got hot when i was crawling not so much when bashing when i got my novak 55 all my heat issues went away. put it in and run it touch it every few seconds and c if its getting hot. if it is shut it down! Also check your gear meshing if its to tight the motor has to work harder.

the bec will have nothing to do with burning motors up, but its set at 7 volts??? thats a bit high for running a 645, might burn a servo up doing that.

I run a Novak 45 T motor with a 12 pinon gear and a rooster ESC and lipo 7.4 that i charge to 8.4 and my motor never gets hot. If you have a load problem or the gears are binding you will over heat. You may want to check all of your running gear for any tight spots and then check your out put to your motor with a meter. You may not be getting enough power to the motor and that would cause over heating.
