| MTroniks VIPER Eco27? LRP Runner, or any ESC?
I seen this Viper ECO27 and was wondering if it'd be OK in a small rig, like a TLT. I realy like the idea of it being water proof. I just don't know what all the specs are like the BEC ratings and how much power is delivered in reverse and such. http://www.mtroniks.co.uk/mtroniks_S...ubCategoryID=2 I have also found the LRP A.I. Runner Plus which is also waterproof and seems to have good specs, the it doesnt' provide an amp rating for the BEC but it has 5v. http://www.teamassociated.com/shusti...lrp/AI_esc.htm I know alot of you realy like the rebel2 but I'm lookin for something a lil more affordable. I don't need anything real seious cause I don't compete, I just run it out around the house. It'll have an Integy 55T in it soon and I am currently using an HPI savage steer servo. I only have 2 wheel steer and do not ever plan on 4ws. Last edited by offroadford4x4; 01-02-2006 at 01:14 PM. |

I've had success with past Mtroniks ESC's. My only complaint was the lack of good reverse power. I'm not sure if it was my 2 units, or that was just how they were designed. I was using the RV-15's. The LRP AI waterproof esc's look cool, but if you cant adjust their reverse delay, that'd be lame. Ryan |
