| Losi Night Crawler ESC
Hoping someone has some advice. Picked up a stock Night Crawler knowing it needs an ESC (won't program, only goes foreward). Any suggestions on what ESC to put in. Stock replacement looks hard to find, no one has them in stock. Was thinking about a Sidewinder but wasn't sure if a BEC is needed. I wanna get this thing on the rocks and see how it competes with the Creeper.

Novak Rooster Crawler should work fine.. It is only has 2s lipo (with cutoff) but will run nimh or lipo. It also has an internal BEC. Should be able to pick one up at your LHS..

Imo, the rooster crawler would be a total waste. The sidewinder would be decent but really get the mamba max pro, that way when your ready to run brushless all you gotta get is a motor. the 3s goat would be an option also but my vote goes to the much more capable/programmable mmp.

| I would try this first...Hard to believe bone stock and fresh it wouldn't work...But it prob has happened to someone before. And if it doesn't work I would recommend in contacting your LHS that sold it to you. Or contacting Losi. I wouldn't buy a expensive ESC when you should be able to get a new one for free. Good Luck. |
