| 55t motor question?
Did some looking around found some great info but didn't exactly find what i was looking for. I have a ax10 rtr rock crawler/racer with the 27t motor. put the novak rooster esc in it and using a DX3.0 on it. I put the 14t pinion on it. I can get it to go slow but I would like it to just a little slower with out cogging. Now to the question.. If I put a 55t motor in and nothing else will it be able to go slower easyer? If that makes any sense..

That 55T should give you a lot of smooth low-end torque. You will see a big decrease in your speed, I recommend a 45T motor, it will give you just a bit more speed, but will keep your low-end speed nice an smooth...

i agree with greatscott. the 45t will be a better bet for the little bit of extra wheel speed.

I did turn the throttle sensitivity down and I still wasn't happy with it. Thanks, I think I going to pick up a novak 45t...
