| Cheap crystals, FYI
SO was doing some reading on a few forums, Turns out for 27mhz frequency am, such as the tq3 or such, xmods crystals from radio shack work. They are 15 bux for 6 sets. Think i'll go grab some tonight.

I've been using the Xmods crystal set for a while now. Works great. And the frequencies are different from the traxxas crystal set, so none of the xmods crystals will interfere with the traxxas crystals.

I used some leftover Xmod crystals last season with my Mini-T. They do work quite well and from what I've been told, even if you and someone else are running on the same channel (Ch. 3, for example), the Xmods crystals are about half of a frequency higher than standard crystals and allow you to run on the same channel. Too bad RS never came out with anything that used 75Mhz AM!! |
