Default 2 batt. help

i am going to start runing two smaller batt.(1600mah namh..out of a mini lst)
should i hook them up in series or paralel?

Depends on what you want out of the combined packs...

Double the voltage = Series
Double the amperage = Parallel

I am assuming that the batteries are 7.2 V, if you put them in series you'd get 14.4V, which would likely fry your ESC (depending on which one you have), wiring them in parallel would give you 3200mha @ 7.2V.

It really depends on the power needs of your crawler, if you are running an AX10/creeper, I'd say just run one pack at a time, each should give you about 20-30 mins of run time with a higher wind motor. If you are running a MOA, I'd say wire them in parallel to stretch out your battey life. If you are running a Losi, series might be the way you want to go, but with that much voltage you might fry the ESC, you'll have to see how much it can handle.

thanks i think i will run them one at a time and then look into a parll setup for the long runs....and congrats!
