| servo good enough for a dig?
I have a spare servo laying around and wondering if a it will be enough for the dig. Its a spektrum Z270 I have tried to look up specs for torque but found nothing if not this what would be a good one. im running a jr9100 for front steering and a hitec 5955 for rear steer.

the z270 is a standard servo that comes with the jr/spektrum radios. iirc its around 70oz/in, slow, and has plastic gears. it may work for the dig though.

you can always up the steering and but the current servo on for dig.

if you have a jr 9100t there is no need to upgrade that. the rear steer, if you feel you need to upgrade that, feel free. however i say give the standard servo a shot, see how it works. if it works good, no point in spending the money, if not, try a hitec 645, cheap servo and will more than do the job.

| Depends on what DIG your running
I'm running a Hurtz 3 position Vanquish and it has a long arm on it for leverage. So I can use a standard servo with metal gears. Plus the internals of the DIG are made out of 440 C stainless. Bullet proof. |
