Default what should the charged voltage of a 9.6v pack be

I have a Futaba 6ex and just got done charging the battery pack at .5 amp on my quick charger on peak setting and the voltage is at 10.8v... the 6ex has a battery alarm at 9.4v so I assume that you dont start with 9.6v and only run it down to 9.4v so can anyone tell me what it should be at I dont want to fry my 6ex
