| Radio Interference
Before you rail me for being a noob and not using the search button i have tried with no luck... im a noob. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with AM and FM radios. My friend has a 27Mhz AM radio for his crawler, i have a 27Mhz FM radio. The problem is that when he turns on his radio my truck goes nuts, and i loose all controle, it just starts to have a seizure. His crystals are a 4 while mine are an 8 wasn't sure if changing them will help or if we just can't run the two rigs next to each other till one of us gets a different radio and reciever? Thanks |

Check the frequencies instead of channel #'s... Like 27.385... AM and FM will glitch each other out if they're the same frequency as I found out 2 ears ago at a Monster Jam show we put a demo on at... I had AM77 in my AX and a buddy had the FM equivalent in his Kyosho and we had problems... Thankfully he had extra xtals... Sounds like the same issue... Check the freq's... Someone will moer than likely need new xtals... |

...and that's why they invented 2.4Ghz. I love not having to check the frequency board or to worry about who might be running the same frequency at a GTG.

We were running the exact same frequency, got another set of crystals from a friend and they work great now. Yes a 2.4Ghz would be nice but i dont have the $$$ to drop on one right now. Im running a 3 channel and they get a little expensivel.
