Default wont turn

so i bought a esc off here its a moped. will go forwards and reverse great. but my truck will not turn could that have something to do with esc. when i had a diff esc on here it all worked great .. is there anything i should try before say i got a bad esc? thanks

Turning has nothing to do with the ESC. It's the servo that does the turning.
Make sure you've got the plugs in the reciever correctly, usually that's all black/dark wires to the outside.

sounds like the Moped's BEC isn't strong enough for the servo, try pulling the red wire from the servo plug and plugging in a external BEC or receiver pack

yep everything is pluged in right just tried another esc and it turns just wont turn with moped hum....

ok some how it was the rx. Is there any reason a tq am rx wont work with a moped. but a stock hpi will.. yet the tq rx and lrp esc work together hum....

huh what are the chances it was a brokeing pin in the rx that just happen to toch just right with the lrp.. quick sodier and its good
