Default Can i run dual 7.2v batteries and two 17t 540 motors with the super duty XR???

I have a superduty xr speed control, and am wanting more power out of my truck, and know that in my owners manual of my novak superduty xr speed control it says that i cant run two batteries and two 540 motors...that dual battery operation can only be used with 550 motors...but i went to this TXT-1 upgrade forum and the person there seems to be saying that the evx 14.2 is the only speed control that can actually run two batterys and two 540 motors??? against popular belief that it cant...is this true???

i would follow the owners manual, also if you're ESC is capable of 3s lipo. Why not just run that?

with the super duty on 12cells (14.4v) the motor limit is either dual 15t or 19t i cant remember but 17t's should be fine i would watch its temp at first to see how it acts. if u ran 3s lipo with a cutoff or 10cells (12v) i know dual 17t would be totally fine
