curious if anybody knows what the difference is between them. the specs are the exact same?? anybody know?

one uses a magnetic encoder and the other uses a potentiometer

when it comes down to it which one would be better for crawling? or would either one make a difference? |

A potentiometer will wear out over time, supposedly the magnetic encoder will not.
