I have a airtronics remote and it has a third channel but its a 2 position. So how do i set up rear steer on that? I want it to be able to take it out of rear steer while im driving. How do i do this?

Impossible...

You need a 3 postion switch to accomplish rear steer. Ie: Full left (pos 1), Neutral (pos 2), and full right (pos 3).

Or if you have an old plane (stick) radio laying around you can use it, and you would have full rear steer control. It takes practice to get use to though...

How would it work with 3rd channel when its plugged into the third channel slot how does it turn when you turn or do you have to run it using the third channel?

You can either plug the rear servo into the 3rd channel to steer it indepentantly of the front servo.

Or you can get a servo Y/reverser and run them injunction with each other. Ex, you turn the wheel left both servos turn in the opposite direction (Stock clod/tlt like steering).

Just get a Y harness and it will work.

It would be full lock one way in pos1 and pos3. Pos2 would be straight. Or you could get one of these. http://www.punkrc.com/index.php?main...&products_id=3 Still need a 3 pos radio.

Not true! Don't listen to this. If you get a regular Y harness you will just crab walk. You need a Y/reverser. Because one servo is postioned opposite of the other. Well, unless you had BTA steering in the front then a reg Y is ok...

I'm using a SPEKTRUM DX3S, which has a 2 position third channel. pos 1 turns the rear wheels opposite of the front. pos 2 turns them the same direction as the front (also called crabbing.) I simply disable rear steering on the controller to use front steering only. I have not used the controller you mentioned, but I would think it has the same ability as the spektrum. I love having rear steering. It is not legal at most comps, but great for the gravel pit.

Ya could also use the reverser switch for left and right. Or do it right and get a 3pm x.
