Default steering servo alternatives

out side of the real big boys like the 7955's and equivalent what would be a less expensive alternative that will turn a bully and have some life, Wife is getting a lil (lot) mad at the money i'm dumping into this rig.

look for some Tower Pro servos on Ebay, they are OK.

I use a Crawford performance engineering servo. 200+ oz. Held up so far.

$20.+ea.

I know you have probably been told this 100 times and I understand the wife problem. But stop buying cheap servos. Just spend $100ish and be done with it. You will spend that much trying to find a good cheap one. I know this is not really an answer to your question but.....it really is.

If you're on a budget watch the classified section, ebay, RCU, etc. I just picked up a Hobbico CS-170 (rebadged Hitec 5955) that had been used to control a tail rudder for $40 to my door. Both of our AX10's have JR Z9000T's in them and I got them for $30-40 each used and they're still going strong after a couple years of crawler duty. A little patience can save a ton of money.

Been trying to get a used one , i tried for 1 in the classifieds now but never got a pm back and they show sold now. LOL just trying to keep away from the cut off factor.
