Default I need some info on charging 2 lipos

Ok so here it is I run 2 2s lipos in a Vorza flux. I want to knnw if I can charge both batteries at the same time I have a passport ultra that can charge up to a 6s lipo. If I take two male deans plugs to go into the batterier and then run the wires to one female plug to plug into the charger. If this would do I charge it as a 2s or a 4s? When it is done I figured I could plug them in individualy to balence them out. Thanks for any advice.

Why not get a dual 2s addaptor for the balance leads and balance charge it as a 4s pack?

Charging 2 pack thru the power lead can be done but is not the best way to go. The cells with lower IR will over charge and the ones with higher IR will under charge.

You may have to wire up your own but it's not hard. All you need is a 4 cell balance tap to fit your charger (male) and two 2 cell taps to fit your battery. The red lead for the second pack will share a lead with the last black lead of the first pack.
If your charger requires a connection to the power lead then you will need to make a 2 to 1 lead for that end as well.

Here's a link to a 3 cell x2 lead so you can see what I'm talking about:

I charge both of my 3s batteries at the same time. I have 2 1000mah g-forces and just made a y-adapter with 1 female and 2 males then use the ballancing adapter that came with my charger. It has ports for 2s-6s. These ports are wired in parallel so you can plug your 2s balancing plug into the 3s-6s ports and they will be connected. You still charge the batteries at 2s but add the Mah together. So I charge mine at 3s, 2000mah.

Parallel charging is safe. Check out some of the airplane and heli guys sites. Many of them charge tons of batteries all at the same time. No fires, no swelling.

Yup I'm one of those heli guys; I've been charging 3 x 3cell packs for years.
