| servo question?
I have a servo from ckrc, the wiggle, i do not havea lot of run time on but it seems to have lost all its torque and gets fairly warm after a short period of time. I do have a bec installed. Is this baby on the fritz already or can it be something else?

on what voltage are you running it? If you have the skils you could take apart the servo motor and check the brushes.

well if you have a ccbec and just bought it new and installed it than you should have 5 volts. BUT if you arent sure you shoud test the voltage on the becs output with a voltage tester (multimeter). The bec can deliver any voltage, the max voltage is the same that delivers the battery and the lowest, if not mistaken, is 5v.

Its probably dying. Thats what happens to crap servos. I went through half a dozen of cheap $20 servos before I had the brains to pony up and buy a good one.
