| Air RX in Scaler can you? I have a DX5e transmitter that I use to fly my Supercub plane and was wondering if I pick up a AR6100 air RX I can use that in my scaler? I have seen mods to spring the throttle stick but I use it for my Cub still so I don’t want to do that. Can I hook the esc into the elevator port instead or what is the best track to go with this? Thank you for your help in advance. |

I use a DX6i and AR6110 Rx... The rx's are $36... You can set it up however you want... I actually kept the throttle for esc and aierons for steering... I have a heli setup so my throttle doesn't center, but I'm used to it since I fly heli's... | |

| Ok thank you that is good to know. One last question do you just bind it with the throttle stick in the center for there to be forward and reverse?

The bind process is to link the RX to TX... stick position has nothing to do with binding. Now when you set up your ESC you'll want the stick you're using for throttle to be in the center |

| If I'm not mistaken stick position during bind process does set your fail safe settings, so it might be a good idea to have it centered during the bind process.

| That is correct. You should have both your sticks and all switches where you want them when binding.
