| Servo Rating Question.
Why are all servos rated for 4.8 volts and 6.0 volts? Just curious cause I've never heard of a speedo putting out 4.8 volt on the BEC...

I'd imagine it was because people used to run these instead of external BECs: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXNRH6&P=ML |

Well nimh/nicd batteries are 1.2v per cell . A 4 cell battery is 4.8v . Many people run 4 cell rx packs on nitro so thats all the voltage the servo will have available . Manufacturers give these ratings for that reason . Hope this helps
