Default servo voltages and bec

ok been reading a ton of info in here, i would like to know if im getting it right. just wired up my new fxr 35 t in my new honcho. servo is a hitec hs985 mg 144/172 4.8/6.0v i was running this unit off the fxr but im switching to a 3s this week and i am under the understanding that i needed a cc bec so i wired that up. everything wrking good. but the voltage from the fxr to the servo was 6.0 but the cc bec is stock 4.8v? is this all correct so far? and to change that i need the link. i have only run this setup for a day or so. is the extra volts in the servo worth it. I realize that a personal opinion but do most of you crawler guys in the know run 6 volts?

the stock setting of a cc bec is 5.1v and if you dont notice any drop in power from the 6v internal bec of the fxr i wouldnt worry about it. on most of mine im running around 6.2v
