Default 3 chan radio help

i just picked up a losi comp crawler with dig.. but it came with out a tx/rx i know it needs a 3 chan but what 3chan werks best? how would i go about modding a trx 3chan with a 3pos switch.. that would gimmie al one way all teh other way and center wouldnt it?

I am using the the spectrum DX3E It is 100 bucks and works great.It also comes with a standard size servo that I am using for my dig on my AX10.The only problem is it has one model memory but so would a mod traxxas remote.

also the new traxxas link 4 channel (part number 2208 ) is a great inexpensive option (around $100) (4TH channel has a 3 position switch)

If you want to use a TQ3 heres a pdf on how to mod it,I got my TQ3 RX & TX from ebay for $29 shipped. http://www.rccaraction.com/Media/Med...wtoconvert.pdf
