Default What size Lipo ?

How do you guys calculate what size Lipo to get ?
Trying to decide what Lipo size to buy, Example: 3300mah that is a 25c or 3300 40c , or 4300 25c

Been doing RC for many years, recently RC crawling but now Getting into Short Course racing, 2wd open class. Just bought a Tekin Redline 10.5 sensored brushless and have not run it yet. Will be racing/running on a small short course track.

When I practice, been using a Thunder p 2250 30/60c , lasts 10 minutes on a castle 2200kv or 15+ minutes on a Old reedy mod brushed.

How are these ? :

Thunder Power RC G4 Sport Race 25C 3300mAh 7.4V 2 Cell LiPo 2SSRD 3300

Thunder Power RC G4 Sport Race 25C 2700mAh 7.4V 2 Cell LiPo 2SSRD 2700 Lipo

Thunder Power RC G4 Sport Race 25C 4300mAh 7.4V 2 Cell LiPo 2SSRD 4300

Thanks

They are a great lipo. Beining a hard case, they work great for offroad hard core bashing. They also come in larger sizes as well. Let me know if you have other questions or if we can set you up with some...

The 3300's are gonna last you 15-20 min depending on your trigger finger. Ideally the amps hour x "c" rating=amps on tap. With the big motors like that, 2200kv, if it's the slash 4x4 and mamba monster, it'll want alot of amps, all castle esc's love amps from my experiance. I have a slash, seidewinder esc, vxl motor. It rocks on 3s, but I use a 5400 20c. The vxl motor pulls 50-60amps under heavy load (acceleration, wheelies, all from stand still) and the battery can supply 108amps. So theoretically I can run very lightly for an hour and 15min.

Sorry got to bumping my gums
You want to be able to have the extra leeway on amps from your pack. Ie, 5000mah @ 25-40c and mmm will be happy.
Longer runtimes, more mah and more "c"
Longer runtimes and risk damaging a pack, 2250 30c for a little over 60amps for something that needs more. Over drain. Btw, I run with someone who has a tekin redline 10.5 and he runs a turnigy 5000mah 20c 2s and is quick! That set up is beasty!!! Wanna trade?

I use a turnigy 5000 20c for my mmpro/ tekin redline 6.5 in my touring cars and it works really well. The battery does warm up a bit so I could benefit from a higher discharge battery. Its usually about 105-110* after a full pack so nothing dangerous. That motor is listed on the tekin site as 400w so quite a bit more current draw than his 10.5.
