| Castle link / CC Bec WTF!!
Ok. I just got a new bec and a new castle link. I've read my problem on the forum I just cant get the solution. I'm running a Sidewider esc and the bec is wired in line with it directly to the battery. So I plug in my esc and poof I program it no problem. Next I plug in my Bec and poof NOTHING. It doesnt give me a green light on the link. My esc lights are blinking though along with the little green light inside the bec. I've read that the usb port doesnt have enough power to run the esc and bec. But I've also read people plugging in there battery and then plugging in the link to the bec. still NOTHING. I cant cut off the esc when I plug in the link because I receieved one of the wonderful sidewinder esc's from CC that the switch doesn't work on. If anyone has any other ideas I could try let me know. Thanks jeff

I've always programmed them before installing with no power connected... Are all three wires on the bec still connected? |

I usually have to plug in the battery to get the BEC recognized, but no problems once I do. Is everything hooked up right?

try pluging everything in and shut down the cc program then reopen it with everything still pluged in. i have to do that with mine from time to time to fire up the green light.

Try pluggin in the battery. I don't think the ESC being on should cause any problems...

LMAO. I tried the plug in the battery method to get it recognized and......POOF! no more Link. The only thing it would do then is red light on. It wouldnt program anything. went to the hobby shop and got a new one. It was just to weak to power the bec and esc at the same time. I dont recommend anyone trying the plug the battery in method.
