Default Sidewinder vs OutCry ESC

Here is my story, I have a Venom Creeper and a HPI Blitz running the SideWinder ESC. I can't decide between the two:

1. Use the SideWinder ESC for my Venom Creeper and buy a Mamba Max Pro for my Blitz(This will have to wait because of $). I will also need an external BEC for the SideWinder which is like another $20.

2. Buy a OutCry ESC for my Venom Creeper now. Good drag brake and BEC. $50 + shipping.

From my research, I heard that the SideWinder's drag brake is not very good. But it has cut off and a lot of tuning options. On the other hand, I found OutCry reviews to be good with good drag brake and support 2s-4s lipo.

Go with the sidewinder.
When you look at the tun-ability of it, your really getting what you pay for.
There is not that big of a money difference.

+1... the drag brake with the latest software is OUTSTANDING If your not running 3's, a monster servo or spektrum you can get away without the external BEC... not ideal but it will be OK running 2's and a <200z servo using the sidewinder built in BEC.

The later updates have all the drag brake issues solved. Go Sidewinder.

If ya are happy with the sidewinder in the Blitz, get the outcry and be done. If ya are really planning to upgrade the Blitz then take the sidewinder and put it in your crawler.
