Default Change rotor?

Stupid question but I have a Castle 5700 and want to goto a 4600(its in a racer not really a crawler). I see they make repair kits with a rotor. So is there any way to change a 5700 to a 4600?

The Stator is what the KV is controlled by. On a Castle motor you cannot repalce the Stator (as far as i can tell) but on some Novak motors they make them so you can change the Stator out to make it a different KV.

You can get different size rotor, IE 12MM or a 12.5 to make the motor's power band different.

I don't know how big of rotors you can get for those motors but bigger rotors do slow the motors down a bunch. Take a Novak 18.5 for example, with a 12.3mm rotor it's 2700KV, with a 14mm rotor it's only 1650KV. The bigger rotors slow the motors down while keeping the power output of the lower winds.
