| Novak Goat issues
I purchased a used Novak Goat and 18.5 brushless sensored motor. Im running a 3s 35c 2200mah battery. After programming it, It seems to run fine for a few minutes but then if I hit a difficult spot on a climb, all of the LEDs will flash, the rx will blink and the fan seems to slow down as everything is flashing including the rx. I also have no control as well until I restart the esc. Any ideas? Thanks

This is the goat 3s. The only thing attached to the esc is what looks like a capacitor as displayed in this photo. This stock photo shows what I'm assuming is the BEC circled. Mine did not come with this, so Im assuming I can have Novak repair it or buy an external? |

The weak 3 amp BEC circled should have been in the box with the ESC, your best bet is just to purchase the CC BEC.

the ESC was purchased used with the rig so I'll look into a CC. Not having the included BEC in place, how am I getting 6v to the rx instead of 11.1? I guess Im confused.

| The esc has an internal bec, which is fine for lower powered servos. Once you start putting pressure on it, it'll fail and shut the system down. Especially so when you run 3s.
