| sidewinder wont respond
So I got a sidewinder from a friend, I wired it all up as it should be for a brushed motor and when I turn it all on it has no throttle response...Ive tried to reverse the throttle on the radio, trim the throttle on the radio, a series of turning one thing on before the other and nothing. I have steering servo response though so I know the radio's talkin to the reciever. Any help is appreciated |

Did you calibrate the ESC to the radio?

When you have everything turned on in neutral position, what is the led on the speedo doing, ex. solid yellow, flashing yellow, flashing green?

A while back, Castle had a version of their software that had problems with the different motor leads. Try swapping around the motor leads.....instead of using red and black, try white and black.

Was the last owner running brushed or brushless? if it's set up for brushless you will have no throttle until it is reset to brushed mode.
