First ESC I had for brushless motors it worked just fine on my out runners never tried it on a brushed motor. It's got features like water proof, very lite, and programmable with a Castle link. I ran it on 7 cell packs only I don't remember max voltage.

first small brushless ESC for me as well...NEVER ran mine brushless works great brushed on my MRC

I don't think without some extra water proofing I'd take one for a swim... it is conformaly coated, this does help make it water proof. Still, I'd take some extra measures if you plan on dunking it.

well i have a mamba 25 mamba 8000k brushless extrme motor in a rc18t but i wanna see how far i can push it by means of how much battery im runnin 2000k lipo. so..

you can run as big of a battery as you want just as long as your motor doesnt pull more that 25amps
