Brushes should last a really long time in a crawler. Was this system new when you installed it? You might just have a brush that is hung up and no longer making contact. Pull on the lead that is connected to your brushes and make sure they aren't stuck.

Alright, so the next step would be to try a different motor, if you have one on hand.

Or, if you're willing, you should disassemble the Tekin motor. You might find something you couldn't see before.

I'll give you $10.

Try hooking the motor directly to a battery. If it spins you've got other problems.

The problem that I typically encounter with motors is a stuck brush. It will stop the motor in its tracks...

Default problems

I have seen the magnets in the case come loose and get stuck on the stator (the core of the motor that turns). If you put the motor directly to the battery and it does not turn this is worth looking into. Remove the screws and pull the stator from the case. make sure to not loose any of the washers or bearings. Make sure everything looks in place in the stator and the core. I had this happen just the other day to my friends 55t.
