Default battery voltage

i am in need of some new batteries and am unsure of what voltage to get. i curently run on 7.2 nimh and want to stay with nimh i think. my electronics are tekin fxr, dual 55t motors, cc bec, punk dig, and hitec servo. i want to have better run times mainly. was thinking a higher voltage would do this. any help will be greatly apreciated.

For better runtime you need higher mah, not higher voltage.

X2..... higher voltage will run faster, but not longer. I would go with lipo if you have a charger that can handle them. If not for the better punch they have, do it for the weight loss....
