Does the BEC power up(green LED light up)? you measure the output voltage? Does the ESC power up at all,any LED's light up? do you have steering?

double check how you pluged in the ESC... more than one of us at one time or another has pluged a servo or ESC in BACKWARDS Also you say you pulled the RED wire out of the receiver plug... you mention the white wire as well... the white wire and black wire are still hooked up correct(you need both)

Stupid? but anyway... the ESC switch is on or bypassed correctly? motor wires hooked up correctly... I just did this one myself... did some work on my motor and when I hooked it back up I pluged in to the RED and WHITE motor wires from the ESC... didn't work out so well

oh boy .... dont i feel stupid! i have narrowed it down either i have a battery that is below cutoff volts ( but wouldnt the red light come on?) or i did a shoddy soldering job or a worn out deans plug i just hooked it up to a different batt and wiggled the wires and viola works like a charm thanks for your help ( im really starting to dislike soldering deans)

Good to hear

Soldering deans can be a bitch IF your using an underpowered iron or the wrong solder, no flux or not enough flux... if your joints aren't being made in a matter of 2-3 seconds something is wrong with in process... joints should be bright and shiney with only enough solder to make the bond(NO solder blobs).

update turns out my solder joints were not bad when i pulled the red wire from the esc signal plug i folded it back and heat shrinked it i guess the heat shrink squeezed it so tight that the pin on the end of the wire punctured another wire and grounded out the esc causing it not to arm but problem found and all is well now!
