Default Delight LED control - Tx Neutral position

I was about to order a Delight LED control module from Dimension Engineering yesterday. The PC based programing is great. I downloaded a copy and played around with it.
You can program each output channel to blink, double blink, triple....etc, and fade or jump up in brightness based on the Rx input from the channel selected.

Downside:
single channel input (throttle or steering)

Set points for when a light comes on or off is from 0 to 100%. So lets say you select the throttle as the input, you could have the front headlights turn off at neutral, turn on as you accelerate, then switch on the high beams at high throttle.
What about reverse?? Brake lights or back up lights?

My Tx question is:
I had one person tell me that on a wheeled radio versus stick, the trigger neutral position is actually 1/4 (25%) on the plus side already??

Wouldn't that make you have to reset the neutral points if you switched Tx's?
Thoughts and input??
