Default DX6i question

i have searched for an answer but i cant seem to get a clear idea. i want to have 4ws/crab/and 3pos dig. i cant seem to get over the price of the 4pk so i thought i would try and go to a stick. the dx6i is affordable and i believe it will do what i want.
question 1. will that radio do those functions?

question 2. if so, how would it be used? what stick/what buttons etc would be used to do each function. i want to get a idea so i can decide if my stupid fingers would be able to operate that setup without loosing it.

thanks for any help, if i wasn't clear on my questions please feel free to ask me to reiterate.

For the control of your crawler on a stick controller.

Throttle Control- well your speed/throttle control
Rudder - Front OR Rear Stear (depends on your liking)
Aileron stick - Left/Right - Rear or Forward stear (opposite of the rudder control)

Thats all i remeber right now since I dont actually use a stick control on mine. But I hope that helps! Good Luck!

the 6 can be made to work with 3 pos dig, but the dx7 comes with a 3 position switch. for a shafty with rear steer I would put front steer and throttle on the left stick and rear steer on the right stick.
