| Crawler jerking
for my ax10 i have a JR Racing XS3 Pro remote and JR RS310 reciever worked perfect, then i put a new servo on TowerPro MG995 and it seems once i put the servo on it jerks around alot, on both the forward/reverse, and steering both ways... it does it in spurts and doesn't ever get anywhere but it's really annoying my antenna is wrapped around the chassis |

It could be a few things but it sounds like you need a BEC - your new servo wants more power than your ESC can provide. Of course, check to make sure all the batteries are fully charged. To check, try the old servo if it still works or unplug the new servo and see if the rig moves normally. Last edited by JeepinOR; 06-12-2010 at 08:42 PM. |

All joking aside I would say that your servo wires are close to your motore wires. Tell me... does it spurt sporatically or does it spurt only when you lay into it? |

Its probably the bec . You can check to see if any of the wires are crossing paths to cause interference . Also try running your rig with the tx close to it and see if this helps . If it does you need to move the rx wire . If it worked fine before then its likely the internal bec over heating . |

Is that a hobbyking servo? I have a couple of those and they simply twitch a lot. I've swapped receivers, used a BEC, not used a BEC, changed channels, unplugged the ESC, done pretty much everything imaginable to isolate the source - and the only thing that stops it twitching is turning off the transmitter so the signal goes dead!
