Default XP3D to XP6D Radio

Let me start my first post off by saying what a great site, so much info all in one place. So I have been playing with RC cars and truck for about fifteen years now and the last couple i have really wanted to get into the crawlers. Now that there is a cheap Cherokee body out I decided to jump into the crawler world. I was thinking of all the stuff i want on my Jeep and it came out to be 5 or 6 channels worth. I did not find a 6 channel pistol radio so i thought about making my own. I had a AE XP3D radio from my SC8 setup, and i had a TQ3 radio just sitting around gathering dust. I hard wired into the batt. and ant. and can run wires up the handle to my switch's. Have not yet installed switch's but will get pics as soon as I do. Have tested it and works great cant wait to get switch's mounted and wired. Still have some body work to do, alittle fiberglass work and some body filler sould smooth everthing out, then add paint and done.
