Question Do I need capacitors on a Tekin 45t motor?

I'm installing a Tekin FX-R esc with 45t motor and noticed that there are no capacitors on the motor. Are they required? I'm running TQ3 AM radio gear.

(I'm not talking about the big cap on the esc.)

With an AM radio it's a good idea to run them. With 2.4 there is no need at all.

I have a few 0.01μF caps on hand so I reckon I'll solder them in - just to be sure to be sure.

So I am building an axial honcho, I have a traxxas xl-5 ESC, an integy 35 turn motor, and a SPEKTRUM DX3S and rec. If I understand you, using the spektrum I do not need the three caps soldered to the motor?? Even though the ESC recommends it? But using them will not hurt anything, correct?
