Depends on the amp pull. What steering servo, what winch, what battery voltage, what output voltage will the BEC be set at?

Your infofoo is weak as well.

Ha, sorry. Was posting from my phone and trying to keep it short. Anyway, 3Racing winch, servo is basically a MG945, 3s lipo, Tekin FXR, CCBEC. BEC is set at 6 volts but I may bump it up to 7.2 volts.

You will be fine whether the BEC is at 6V or 7.2V, that servo doesn't pull much for amps.

The Castle BEC is rated at 10 amps, more than enough for those two accessories.

He could probably plug his phone charger into the BEC too, so he could charge it while he was crawling.

I know this is a little old. I have a 3racing winch on the way with a cc bec. My current setup is a sidewinder with hitec 645 servo handling steering duties with a cc bec set at 6v. My plan was to add the second bec set at 7.4v for the winch. Am I doing the right thing or am I just wasting a bec?

I run that setup at 7 volts with a stronger servo on one Castle bec with no issues on my scaler. That is with a Sidewinder on 3s with a h/w 35 turn. I even run some led's off it as well. The extra voltage really helps the 645 and the winch is still strong enough.

Ok so pretty much I could bump the existing BEC to 7v and run both and use the extra BEC on one of my kids trucks? Does the 645 handle the 7v pretty well?

That is what I would do. I ran my scaler with that setup for quite a while with no issues.

My 645 is still going strong, been over a year so far.
