Default dig servo prediciment

Getting my dig setup that i just recently bought from the classifieds (thanks K.O.M!) and I'm wondering if I am doing something wrong or if its something else. (I am an electronics idiot)

Here is the problem:

Plug the throttle in - no problem
Plug the steering in - no ploblem
Plug the dig servo in - no problem with the switch on the radio, but when i steer the dig servo moves 1/8" in the direction i am turning. This happens in any position on the dig. I have made sure wires dont touch, swapped dig/steering on rx.

Here are the electronics i have.

Novak rooster
Novak 55 turn
Dx3 tx
SR3000 rx (the antenna came out)
hitec 5645 steering servo
futaba s3003 dig servo

Thanks for any help

I believe that you have inadvertently set the 3rd channel to mix with the steering channel. Make sure you have channel 3 set to "3P" (3 position) mode.

Sorry, I was wrong...the DX3 does not have mixing. I retract my statement now that I have a manual in front of me.

Have you tried completely resetting the radio and starting from scratch?

1. Turn transmitter on while holding down both the MODE and CHANNEL keys at the same time.
2. Use the MODE key to scroll through to the CLR (Data Reset) screen.

3. Press both the INCREASE and DECREASE keys at the same time to clear ALL settings.

4. Turn transmitter off and then on again and start reprogramming all your settings.
