| punk dig....no rear drive???
hey guys, had the punk dig for a bit now. other day it cut out on me. I only had front wheel drive. I soldered all the conections on the dig again. I even soldered the wires to the rear motor again...... here's the kicker!!!! when I slightly turn the rear wheels by hand all of a sudden i have rear drive. but as soon as i stop no rear drive again till I barely turn rear tires by hand again???? what do you thinks going on?? |

i pulled the rear motor from my bully axle. It seams to be the motor its self...... if i give it gas and turn the pinion on the motor one notche it starts working. as soon as i let go of gas stocks and wont start again.... is my motor due for a rebuild? its a 45t novak |

| Sound like a flat spot on the Comm..had the same issue..thought it was the gear set so I rebuilt the axle and guess what.... pulled the motor apart and there were four flat spots from the brushes hanging. I had mine cut and use it as a spare |

| I agree, i actually went through this just last week. Thought it was my Punk and come to find out i broke a brush wire. But the wheels would work if i started them by hand.

It sounds like a stuck brush to me. When it has this issue, pull the brush back a bit, then let it go. If it starts running, then you might need to cut the comm and replace the brushes.
